The two-day Advanced Karate Training Camp held on 8-9th November in Guwahati witnessed overwhelming participation from karatekas across Assam. The camp, organised by the All Assam Seishinkai Shitoryu Karate Association under the leadership of Renshi Jayanta Burman Shihan Mrigen Nath, Sensei Mintu Saloi, SenseiBipul Talukdar,Sensei Pabitra Deury,Sensei Dilip Mali,Sensei Arnab Jan Sarma and Sensei Bittu Paul brought together students of all ages and belt categories for an enriching learning experience.
The highlight of the event was the presence and instruction of Hanshi Premjit Sen, a globally acclaimed karateka, international referee, and a leading force in promoting traditional karate across India and abroad. Under his expert supervision, the camp focused on advanced kata, kumite techniques, discipline, and the spirit of traditional Seishinkai Karate.
Hanshi Premjit Sen’s training methodology, blending technical precision with deep philosophical understanding, inspired every participant. His vision for creating world-class karatekas through structured and disciplined training was evident throughout the sessions.
Hanshi Premjit Sen said:
“A true karateka never stops learning. The purpose of this camp was not only to refine techniques but to strengthen the mind, discipline, and spirit that define Seishinkai. Assam has immense talent, and with the right guidance and dedication, these karatekas can shine on the international stage.”

Renshi Jayanta Burman shared:
