Poster of “Shree Baba Neeb Karori Maharaj” Film Launched in Lucknow with Grandeur

Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh and Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar Attend as Chief Guests
The much-anticipated film "Shree Baba Neeb Karori Maharaj" took a significant step forward with the grand unveiling of its official poster at a special launch event held at the Bhatkhande Auditorium in Lucknow. The evening was marked by spiritual fervor and cinematic enthusiasm, attended by dignitaries, film personalities, and devotees alike.
The event was graced by Uttar Pradesh Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh and National Award-winning filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, who served as the chief guests. Both praised the initiative to bring the story of the revered saint Baba Neeb Karori Maharaj to the silver screen.
Directed by Sharadsingh Thakur and produced under the banner of Anisha Films International in association with P C Jeweller and BSR Film Productions, the film promises to chronicle the extraordinary life, teachings, and spiritual legacy of Baba Neeb Karori Maharaj. Bunty Gour (Advance Technology’s) and Neelam Singh have joined as co-producers, adding further strength to the production team.
Speaking at the event, Madhur Bhandarkar lauded the project for its spiritual depth, stating, “Baba Neeb Karori Maharaj’s life has touched millions. A film like this has the power to inspire and bring people closer to values of compassion, service, and inner peace.”
Minister Jaiveer Singh echoed the sentiment, emphasizing the government's ongoing commitment to promoting Uttar Pradesh's rich cultural and spiritual legacy. “This film will not only honor the saint’s life but also highlight our state's immense spiritual wealth,” he said.
The film features an ensemble cast, with Subodh Bhave and Mohit Gupta portraying Baba Neeb Karori Maharaj at different stages of his life. The cast also includes celebrated names such as Hiten Tejwani, Samiksha Batnagar, Rajesh Sharma, Anirudh Dave, Smita Tambe, Gourishankar Singh, Milind Gunaji, Garima Agrawal, Aarti Nagpal, Varsha Manikchand, Maya Jaiswal, Sonalii, Shaillendra Gaur, Shantanu Varma, Pankaj Vishnu, Hardeep Kaur, Hemant Pandey, and many others. The film’s cinematography is helmed by Karthik Mallur.
The event also saw attendance from several notable personalities including Professor Mandavi Singh, Jay Singh Pundir, District Judge Aligarh Dharamraj Singh, Anisha Thakur, Anil Giri, Neelam Giri, Babita Singh, Bunty Gour, Prem Kant Mishra, Udayan Sharma, Ayush Giri, and Somiya Singh, among others.
The poster launch was met with enthusiasm and blessings from Baba Neeb Karori Maharaj’s followers, many of whom eagerly await the film’s release, expected in December 2025. With the promise of a powerful spiritual narrative and cinematic excellence, “Shree Baba Neeb Karori Maharaj” is set to inspire audiences across generations.
