Direct Farm-to-Table Experience
Residents of Girgaon and South Mumbai turned out in large numbers to purchase authentic mangoes. Approximately 12 to 15 cultivators from the famous mango-producing belts of Devgad, Ratnagiri, and Vijaydurg participated in the exhibition. By eliminating middlemen, the festival ensured that consumers received naturally ripened, high-quality mangoes at fair prices.
This was the first-ever Mango Festival of its kind in South Mumbai, and the massive footfall reflected the community’s enthusiasm for the initiative.
