Dr. Abhishek Pratap Singh: A Distinguished Journey in Spine Care, Rehabilitation and Service
Dr. Abhishek Pratap Singh has built a professional career around physiotherapy, spine manual therapy, chiropractic care, osteopathic manipulation and rehabilitation. Through years of clinical practice, he has worked with people experiencing different musculoskeletal and spine-related concerns, with a focus on assessment, rehabilitation, manual therapy and conservative approaches where clinically appropriate.
His professional journey began with the establishment of INDRAPRASTH SPINE CARE CENTRE in Tilak Nagar, New Delhi, in 2008. Located at 1/8, Tilak Nagar, the centre became an important foundation for his clinical work. As his practice developed, he expanded his professional presence with INDRAPRASTH SPINE MANUAL THERAPY CENTRE, established in 2014 at 1, Siri Fort Road, New Delhi.
Both centres have remained closely connected with his work in physiotherapy, rehabilitation, manual therapy and spine-focused care.
Over the years, Dr. Abhishek Pratap Singh has developed an approach that includes clinical assessment, manual therapy, rehabilitation exercises and guidance related to posture and movement. Treatment and rehabilitation options are considered according to individual requirements and clinical suitability.
A significant part of his professional profile is associated with non-surgical spine management. Dr. Abhishek Pratap Singh has avoided more than 7,000 surgeries and treated more than 20,000 patients during his professional journey. His work has been associated with conservative, non-invasive treatments, rehabilitation and manual-therapy-based approaches.
His professional recognition began early in his career. In 2008, he received the Samaj Ratna Sammaan from Jan Sanskriti Lok Seva Sanstha, New Delhi, for his contribution to social service. In 2016, he received the Significant Contribution Award from INCPT, AIIMS. During the same year, he was recognised as Best Physiotherapist Doctor in Delhi – 2016 by former Union Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan.
In 2017, Indraprasth Physiotherapy Centre was recognised as the Best Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Centre in Delhi at the National Quality Excellence Awards.
As his focus increasingly developed around spine and manual therapy, further recognition followed. He received the title of Best Osteopathic Spine Manipulation Therapist in Delhi/NCR for 2018–19 and was later honoured as Best Spine Manual Therapist in India in 2021.
Public awareness has also been an important part of his career. In 2017, Dr. Abhishek Pratap Singh appeared on DD News to discuss modern lifestyles and musculoskeletal health. He subsequently appeared on DISHA TV, where subjects including slip disc, frozen shoulder, knee osteoarthritis and sciatica were discussed. He also participated in the EPIC TV Pratigya Talk Show alongside actress Poonam Dhillon.
During the COVID-19 period, he continued his involvement in patient care and community-oriented initiatives. His contribution during this period was recognised with the COVID-19 Service Excellence Award from Star Time Media Group.
In 2023, he received the Most Trusted Spine Osteopathic Manipulation Therapist Award from IFIE and the National Indian Achievers Award. He was also honoured by Shri Nitin Gadkari for his contribution to healthcare and rehabilitation. Later that year, his professional journey was featured on India News' Bharat Ki Shaan programme.
In 2026, Dr. Abhishek Pratap Singh received the Health Professional Ratan Award at NCAHRS-AIIMS.
Community service continues to be another important aspect of his work. In association with Bharat Vikas Parishad, he has participated in initiatives providing free physiotherapy services. His centres have also organised physiotherapy camps and awareness programmes, including activities connected with World Physiotherapy Day.
Today, INDRAPRASTH SPINE CARE CENTRE and INDRAPRASTH SPINE MANUAL THERAPY CENTRE remain central to the continuing professional work of Dr. Abhishek Pratap Singh, with a focus on physiotherapy, rehabilitation, manual therapy and spine-related care.
