The Amateur Club Foundation, founded in 2013 by Prashant Deore and a dedicated team of eight individuals, has transitioned from a small local initiative into a significant volunteer-driven movement. 1. Wildlife and Sparrow Conservation

The foundation addresses the rapid decline of sparrows in urban areas caused by urbanization, habitat loss, and the excessive use of pesticides.

Action: They have designed and installed eco-friendly nest boxes and bird feeders made from recycled plastic bottles to provide safe breeding spaces.

Impact: These structures allow sparrow populations to stabilize in urban environments. Since sparrows act as natural pest controllers and indicators of environmental health, their conservation is vital for maintaining local biodiversity.

2. Environmental Awareness and Water Support

A major milestone for the foundation is their large-scale initiative to support wildlife during extreme heat.

Action: The foundation has distributed over 20,000 clay water pots free of cost to support birds during extreme summers.
