Residents of Muhar Jamsher, a village across the international border fencing, voted enthusiastically

Fazilka June 1, Muhar Jamsher village of Fazilka district is a village of last Village of India which is on the Pakistan side of the fencing on the international border with Pakistan and this village is surrounded by Pakistan on three sides while there is fencing on its eastern side. The people of this village also enthusiastically participated in the voting and contributed to the strengthening of the country's democracy by participating in the election festival. At this booth, 525 of the total 618 votes of the village were polled till 5 pm which is 84.9 percent polling.

District SSP Dr. Pragya Jain reached this village where she encouraged the voters and also encouraged the security personnel deployed here on election duty. She also wished them well along with the soldiers of the BSF unit who are also contributing to democracy while protecting the borders of the country in the extreme heat.

The people of this village, located right on the Zero Line, have a close relationship with the BSF and the SSP also congratulated the BSF jawans posted here for the duty they are doing in the security of the country.

The faith of the villagers in democracy is a source of inspiration for the countrymen. The people of this village have contributed a lot to democracy despite the hardships. This village is not only across the fencing line but also across the Sutlej creek and when there are floods then the Sutlej river also becomes a barrier between this village and the rest of the country, but still the contribution of these people to democracy is commendable.
