After having pneumonia at age of 3 and accepting the loss of vision at age 5, he came in touch of Braille at age of 12 and had primary education in NIEPVD in Dehradun where he also learnt screen reader access for devices alongside command on braille and did well. 

He was selected for Quizzes in Punjab and computer typing for CMS in LUcknow where he did manage to come on top and his school was delighted by his performances. 

He returned back to inclusion after schooling and graduated from Kirori mal college in DU where he was a modest student of his time but was regularly active in contests happening round the university that included quizzes, writing contests, extempore and debates. 

His journey into writing had started to grow in school where he used to make GS notes on braille slate, but he got real wings in college days. Here he published short writing in magazines, took part in writing contests and made a name for himself. 

 With achievements like special mention award by Prachi education society in essay writing and 2nd prize in NLU short story contest, he did grow in the field of writing with accolades from the renowned places and appreciation by the people around him. 

However 2014 was a moving year. With technical help and some awareness on how to compile a work through basic steps, he published his 1st work in Sept 2014 through Power Publishers in Kolkata and from there he never looked back and kept moving forward in the writing industry as he got more chances. 

He further got some experience in research work through an internship at SNDT online, contributed in Story mirror alongside poems as well as stories and also participated in few online writing challenges to grow more in the field with more readers to get for his future glory. 

Today he is author of more than 120 works and has won 9 international awards but he feels more connected in between his visually impaired friends and likes to help in whatever way it is possible so he feels gratified to all for this and cherishes the close affinity with his society. 

In 2022, he was supported hugely by Digital Golgappa and Cosmoclan platforms and came to be known by the larger Indian spectrum for which he is thankful and he continued to grow more in2023 as an author by their support round web. 

He was chosen Author of the year finalist by NE8x official in 2023 after completing the entire 1 year cycle and they further honoured him on 3rd of December for his journey as an author with his quote book titled Thoughts beyond measure. 

As the author completes 10 years of his journey this Sept 2024, he looks to grow further and keep it going with more zeal and effort in it. He is thankful to everyone and his efforts would continue in the writing field. 

“The youth are smart, but sometimes they need guidance. My upcoming project aims to show that all answers can be found in the scriptures of Sanatan Dharma,” says Abhishek Kapoor. He believes that ancient texts hold the keys to modern problems.

According to sources, Abhishek Kapoor is working on either a new book or some other form of content to spread this awareness. While he didn’t reveal the exact details, he hinted at deep research and unique connections. For instance, he links the dialogue between Ashtavakra and Bandhi to modern-day cricket and uses Markendaya’s story to explore whether people are born talented or become talented over time.

“Sanatan Dharma texts offer guidance on everything, from women empowerment to skill vs. experience. These texts contain life hacks for anyone, regardless of religion, caste, or nationality,” says Abhishek Kapoor.
